COMPLETELY EAT
YOUR HEARTS OUT KILGORE LOVERS! If Big Horns weren't enough for
you, then Long Toms should be. And BOXES!!! Well, this set is worth about half
as much as my house! Wonderful Kilgore Cap Guns. No wonder they're so rare.
Chuck has them all, or so it would seem.
Here's a close-up of those Long Tom
grips. I wonder if any of them have Roy Rogers' signature on them. I know Chuck
has some of those though. Folks, there's 17 Long Toms with 9 boxes.
Amazing.
These are all Wyatt Earp Cap Guns by various
manufacturers.
AHA! We have met the ENEMY. When I was
growing up, the enemy was HUBLEY!!! But now that I am grown (and then some!) I
realize that Hubley made some good stuff! And that's an understatement. Here is
a crammed showcase just full of it. And I mean FULL!
There was just no doubt
about it, Steve McQueen was plain COOL and so the Wanted Dead or Alive
TV show was very popular. Here are two mint sets from the Chuck Quinn
collection, the top one being a dart game from Marx.

I'm not sure who made all
of these Range Rider sets, but the one on the upper left was by M.A. Henry of
Canada, of Buzz Henry fame.
Here's just a beautiful grouping of MINT ON CARD (MOC) Hubley Cap
Guns. (starting from top-left clockwise) Ric-O-Shay, Jr., Texan 38, Colt 38,
Deputy, Deputy (different style), 2-in-1 Cap Gun, Remington 36 (long barrel),
Remington 36 (short barrel, blued) and Remington 36 (short barrel,
chrome). CLICK ON PHOTO TO SEE LARGER

GOLD, GOLD AND MORE GOLD!!!
Isn't this just to drool over? Here's a collection of Gold plated Hubley Cap
Guns! From Cowboy to Texan to Texan Jr. Amazing grouping! And you know that
Chuck doesn't just keep them out on a blanket for tourists, so he went to a lot
of trouble to set them out just for us. CLICK ON

The
top set (with the original receipt) is from the hit TV show on NBC of
Laramie. The set is by Hubley which included Hubley Marshal Cap Guns.
The bottom Carnell set is from Sundance starring Earl
Holliman.
Here's Gil Favor (played by Eric
Fleming, assisted by our hero Rowdy Yates, played by Clint Eastwood), the trail
boss of Rawhide. You know...."Roll 'em, Roll 'em, Roll 'em..." Just like
in the Blues Brothers. The TV show ran from January, 1959 to December,
1965. Chuck must have every doggone TV show set there isalong with all of
the memorabilia. I just can't imagine that anybody has more assorted items than
Chuck. There might be some that have more Cap Guns, but for sheer quantity of
pure entertainment, this is about as good as it gets. The Smithsonian doesn't
have it when it comes to Cap Guns and this kind of memorabilia!!! CLICK ON PHOTO TO SEE LARGER PHOTO
