		Roy was probably the most popular of all Western film stars, even attaining "King of the Cowboys" stature. Hundreds of gun and holster manufacturers sought his endorsements and made multiple models featuring his licensed picture, nameand signature. He even had Trigger's picture and Horseshoe signature licensed. I noticed that Dusty Rogers' personal collection in the RR Museum had the Stevens 1950's Cowboy King as his favorite. Trigger and Hammer action are great, Grips have some color fade but have great integrity with only minor bowing near the top. The name Rogers is very evident, but the name Roy has mostly worn off. The Box is in good to excellent condition with all with ends and tabs, only minor paper loss and one small water stain. Overall condition on Gun is about C-9, Box is C-7 and monogram is C-3. We have held it for quite a while, looking for another to match it, but maybe someone else has too. We have included the 11" Classy with the pewter scroll grips to highlight the black and white effects. It would easily take the large Kilgore or Schmidt also. The gun functions perfectly, but like so many Classys has a break on the metal extension over the right grip. Still a classic addition to your RR collection.
