The heel of this Kilgore Kit Carson
model. You can see that this Cap Gun has a lanyard ring built into the frame. And it's heavy! Some Cap Guns had lanyard rings that were so flimsy that they broke off easily. No Nichols Cap Gun ever had a lanyard ring. What do you do with them??? You're supposed to have a holster—not have the thing hanging around your neck. It's not a whistle!
