STEVENS BANG-O CAP GUN
	Here we can see the breakdown from the left side of this immaculate Cap Gun from the classic cast-iron era of cap pistols. There is the oil hole again! Considering that these things were cast-iron, wouldn't it have made a lot of sense to oil the whole thing to keep it from rusting? Cast-iron skillets would rust. Except for my grandmother's, as it was always baking cornbread. The older (and greasier) it got, the better the cornbread tasted. Maybe the more you fired these Cap Guns, the less prone they were to rusting? Photo thanks to Doug Hamilton
