They produced this cap gun in four variations, the WYATT EARP, MAVERICK, MARSHAL, and PATROL. All of them are RARE & Hard-To-Find. It is almost never that you find this variation cap gun in this condition. It functions as it should with a strong snap to the hammer and stays closed when firing. No chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs to the grips or frame of the cap gun. This variation is not seen very often in this great UNFIRED condition. A great item for any collection or display. VERY RARE & HTF This is a VERY RARE, & Hard-To-Find TEXAS RANGER cap gun with rotating cylinder that uses roll caps. It does not have a Makers Identification mark on it, but I believe it to be produced by B.C.M. of England. It is almost eleven inches long in lightly cap fired condition and has some wear to the Flash-Chromed finish as seen in the photos. It comes with red grips embossed with a Horse and Rider on each grip panel. It functions as it should with a strong snap to the hammer and rotates the cylinder with each pull of the trigger. They came in Gold, Chrome, or Blue finish. The Gold guns are only known to have been marketed in the HEIRLOOM DUELING SETS This one is in the Gold finish and is surely to have originally been from one of those sets. It is in Excellent Plus condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs to the grips or frame of the cap gun. The cap gun functions as it should as it rotates the cylinder with each pull of the trigger. It uses the Nichols three-piece shooting shell bullets. There are no bullets with this cap gun, however I do have some extra three-piece bullets if you are interested.
