Nichols 9-Gun Dealer Display Boards
 |
 |
These are handmade replicas of the Nichols
Stallion display boards used by Nichols Cap Gun dealers in the 50's and 60's.
These boards are duplications from an original display board, using materials
as close as possible to the original. The wood is MDR plywood and the leather
straps are handmade with the same groove pattern and snaps as the original.
Acrylic paint is used for all art work. Since these are individually handmade,
your order might be delayed for as much as a week.
All leather
holders are attached. The holsters (scabbards) and bullet clips must be
provided by the purchaser. If you desire, we will mount your items for you at
no cost. You must ship them to us in advance, however. If you prefer to mount
your own, the necessary holes are pre-drilled. Mounting rivets, templates and
instructions will be included. Obviously the Nichols Cap Guns (and bullets)
pictured are NOT included in this sale. |

of the grips having some rubs and fleabites and a bit of separation. Heard the

For Sale: Nichols Stallion MK-II G-45 Cap
Pistol. This is the very rare model G-45 in the gold finish with powder blue
pearlescent grips made in 1959 when less than 200 were produced. The condition
shows wear, but it appears there are no broken parts. The hammer will cock and
move the cylinder but I think the internal spring is not connected to the
hammer to make it go foward, the hammer is free fall. I have chosen not to take
the pistol apart to fix it. Some of the gold finish is worn. Overall the
condition is good but not excellent. My price is $1900.00 and I can be

Tom With Box And "Roy Rogers" On The Frame This Classic 1930s Cast
Iron is one of the most desired of all for many collectors. Trigger and Hammer
action are great, Grips have some color fade but have great integrity with only
minor bowing near the top. The name Rogers is very evident, but the name Roy
has mostly worn off. The Box is in good to excellent condition with all with
ends and tabs, only minor paper loss and one small water stain. Overall
condition on Gun is about C-9, Box is C-7 and monogram is C-3. Insured delivery

RANGER. Die-Cast Cap Gun NMT This is the most gorgeous gold gun ever
produced. Made by Wyandotte around 1955, this Red Ranger is seldom seen but
when it is, it is worn and lacking the resplendent red-gold grips that make
this gun outstanding. This gun has never been cap-fired and is in beautiful
condition throughout. The brilliant sheen of the coppery-red plastic grips has
not been dulled by wear. There has been slight wear to the grip finish on the
high spots where the underlying white plastic is just visible. The rich gold
finish on the gun is in perfect condition throughout. Due to batch variations,
the gold on the hammer and right side receiver is a somewhat darker tone than

Cap Gun & Holster. Set These are the rare Leslie Henry Gunsmoke cap
guns with the pop-up cap box and Marshall Matt Dillon copper steer head grips.
These 9-3/4 inch guns are in beautiful condition as can be seen in the photos.
One of the guns has clearly never been cap-fired; the other may have fired a
few caps but is extremely clean as well. The finish on both guns is excellent.
Only the copper-plated grips have a little bit of holster wear on some of the
high points. They come in well-preserved Gunsmoke Matt Dillon leather holsters.

For Sale: NICHOLS 1st Model Stallion 45 Cap
Guns & Holster Set EX. These are the 1st model Nichols Stallion 45 cap
guns with beautiful pearl-colored rearing horse and longhorn steerhead grips.
These huge 12 inch guns are in excellent condition as can be seen in the photos
and come with a full set of bullets. The
bright nickel finish on both guns is just as it came from the factory. There is
a light dust inside the brass casing of the 2-part bullets, indicating that
they were fired at one time but no indication of it on the guns which still
look like new. They work perfectly with the cylinder revolving every time the
trigger is pulled or the hammer pulled back. They come in a beautiful set of
tooled leather holsters, just the right fit for the large stallions. The left
holster has a couple extra holes by the attachment rivets where someone tried
to execute a repair of a torn out rivet with paper clips. It is now repaired

For Sale: Marx Cork Shooting Submachine Gun. It
has never been used or played with. Spring Action on these is very strong and
from my memory of using many of them as a child, I had a blast firing away up
to twelve corks in rapid succession-pulling that lever back while holding the
trigger or cocking it and then pulling the trigger to fire one at a time. All
the corks are there in their original brown paper bag-true to Marx tradition.
These were so strong that the hard plastic would crack and break after a few
weeks of heavy use. This one has never been fired. The glue on the box dried up
and the box is not in very good shape. It has some tears and creases. It
appears complete and can probably be salvaged back to near original
presentation without reprinting anything. It is 20 inches long and is the
Yellow handle model. I know they made it in Red handle as well. I love the
classic graphics on the box of a boy wearing a cub scout like cap. Beside the
boy it says, "One of the many Marx Toys, do you have all of them?" I haven't
seen any of these for sale in the forty years I have been collecting and
trading cap guns and toys. I think there are very few of them out there. The
price on the machine gun is $275. I will include US postage and will pack it as

For Sale: A factory case containing display
boxes with a total of five gross (720) boxes of Kilgore Disc Mammoth caps #108.
These are original warehouse stock and were shipped to my family's toy
wholesale company. One owner. Each display box inside has five dozen individual
boxes so the factory box has 12 undisturbed pristine mint display boxes inside.
The box has never been opened or disturbed but shows some age from years in the
old warehouse. No cuts or tears in the shipping carton. The box on top is from
another shipping carton, but I believe the ones inside this one are exactly
this model. Can't be sure. They were all No. 108's. My experience from these
caps as a child and later as adult who used some of them is that they are still
usable and good. I am asking $1400 including shipping but am willing to
consider offers. I will not break open or break up the box. I do have many
types of caps from that era, all in good condition that I am willing to sell
individually or in a few cases in display boxes. I am including a photo of the
official designation of paper caps to emphasize my feelings about how

Nichols Stallion 41-40 cap gun could be yours. This rare Minty Stallion 41-40
Cap Gun measures 10" in length, with a 4-3/4" barrel. The finish on this cap
gun is in mint condition. The scroll work on the barrel is clearly an
outstanding part and you will see the Stallion 41-40 imbedded in the barrel..
The cap gun has the swing out cylinder with the push ejector to push out all
six bullets at once. The Ivory colored grips are in outstanding shape. If you
are the purchaser of this item, you will find yourself the owner of a great
part of the Nichols cap gun history. The cylinder rotates when you pull the
trigger and the hammer fires as it is suppose to or you can pull the hammer
back to rotate the cylinder.The cylinder is very clean . The lever to release
the cylinder works as it should. This cap gun uses the six two-piece Nichols
bullets that are included. There are 10 boxes of 100, of the caps included,
along a plastic bag of 105 of the caps. One of the cap boxes is slightly
crushed, but the rest are in mint condition. They do show some discoloration
due to their age. The holster is in mint condition as well and comes with the
original paper label. The original box is in good condition and completes the
