Bob says that usually the Deputy Cap Guns which
saw serious play developed a problem with the latch and a wobble in the front
break hinge. But this one is perfect. It was made for a short period of time as a cowboy hero cap gun to go along with the TV Show, The Deputy. However, since it didn’t have the "cool" look of the Nichols or Mattel guns, it didn’t sell very well and Hubley stopped making it. Photo thanks to Bob Garvey |
