Here we can see another engraving of the famous
Big Horn Sheep. This is nice workmanship, considering that it wasn't the top of
the line for Kilgore. This is one of those guns that had rivets to hold it together. I preferred the kind that Uncle Talley usually made from Nichols Industries. (I wonder why?) They had screws so you could take them apart over and over. Photo thanks to Doug Hamilton |
