Here's a good close-up of the interior of the gun
when broken down. You can also faintly read "OIL" just below "THE SHERIFF" where you were supposed to lubricate the gun. I could be wrong, but it doesn't seem that the relief on the scrollwork is as heavy on this one as on the "Peace Maker." Photo thanks to Dick DeArmond |
