This is a good overall view of the right side of
this "Cap Gun" and we can easily see that it is (in every way) exactly like the
regular George Schmidt version—except in the firing mechanism. And you thought that Liberals were only an invention of these days? Well, even when this was made, there were states (and people) who were against caps, so Schmidt (and other companies) made "dummy" guns that wouldn't actually fire caps. When I was a kid, there wouldn't have been anyone I knew that would have wanted to go "Bang" when a decent gun could have gone, "BANG!!!" Photo thanks to David Denton |
