Doug, ever the "consummate close-up taker,"
wasn't content to let the viewer assume that the jewel really was green, so he
just had to take a shot that emphasized its color a little more, as we can see
here. He says that most of the ones that he has seen have the red jewel in them, but this one, of course, is green. With this good angle, you can also get a proper perspective of just how much relief there is in this 3-D faux ivory grip!
