These
are ads that are 500 pixels wide and usually about 125 pixels tall and will
link to your website. These can be for any company that there is, as long as we
approve, for after all, this is a family-oriented site. No profanity, porn,
alcohol, or anything that can't be verified as being a legitimate product. No
Viagra-type ads as everybody has already gotten all of the spam that they need.
No ads can have any auxilliary code in them that will have any malware, spyware
or anything else that causes trouble. The bottom line is that we must approve
the ad.
Placement: You can request any primary page that we have
except the home page. We reserve the right to place as many ads on a given page
as we like. You can request the info from us on which pages are the most
popular. We have a webcounter that gives all regular statistics.
Pricing:
Naturally we reserve the right to change pricing without warning, but it would
only apply to new ads. Current ads would continue at their same price until
their contract runs out. Contracts are for a minimum of one year. The price of
a regular banner ad is $50 per month. If the company is a Texas resident then
the standard sales tax will apply. There are discounts for multiple pages and
you should ask your sales representative for these special prices.
Graphics:
You can submit your own graphics or we will be happy to work with you and
design it for you for a minimal fee. Flash-type ads are allowed, but not if
they contain music.

These ads
are 265 x 160 pixels and are ONLY for toy dealers or western memorabilia
dealers. Again, they must be approved by us.
Placement: They only go on the
Dealers Page and will be rotated in a timely fashion so that everybody gets to
be on top at one time or another. These can link to your website or to your
e-mail address.
Pricing: Naturally we reserve the right to change pricing
without warning, but it would only apply to new ads. The price for these ads is
$75 per year. One year contracts only. We have a wonderful habit of sending
most of the inquiries that we receive from customers worldwide to these people,
since they are usually the people with the products, services and answers. We
do not sell Cap Guns ourselves and lots of people constantly ask for Cap Guns,
repairs or just parts. Remember that $75 per year is only $6.25 per month. We
have dealers clear in Australia and actually one of the most common searches
placed with search engines is: Australian Cap Gun Dealers.
Graphics:
You can submit your own graphics or we will be happy to work with you and
design it for you for a minimal fee. Flash-type ads are NOT allowed, because
since there are so many ads next to each other, we don't want any interference.
Also no music allowed. You would be surprised to know how old music gets IN A
HURRY!!!
Who to contact:
Classified Ads (This is the 2nd most popular
page on the website!) . . . . . . .
LARGE ADS: These are
full-page width and can be up to about 3 inches tall. You can talk about your
business as much as you like. All types of toys can be advertised, as long as
it is tasteful. Again, we have to approve. These are $25 per month. Minimum
contract is 3 months. You are allowed up to 4 graphics or photos, not to exceed
300 pixels wide.
STANDARD ADS: Our standard Classified Ads are
a one-time flat $5 fee (currently) and they have no commissions. You don't have
to pay us a percentage of your sale. See the current ads for an idea of the
standard format. You are allowed one photo of your item and it must be priced
or at least say, "OBO" (or best offer). We will scale it down for you and link
it to a larger, pop-up photo up to 800 pixels wide. We require at least one
form of text to let the customer communicate with you, be it e-mail or phone.
You can even advertise your website. No addresses. Save yourself, for goodness'
sake! We advertise any type of toys or western memorabilia. There is currently
no limit on how long the ad appears on the site. That, of course, will change.
Eventually we will have multiple pages in order to categorize the types of
toys. Also...we DON'T require orange plugs in the ends of barrels and allow
things like BB guns and parts on our site. All relationships between you and
your customers are strictly between you and your customers. We are not
responsible for the validity of any of our advertisers' claims, but will pull
you in a heartbeat if we find that you are defrauding the public. We just don't
need that and besides, this is a Christian organization that is genuinely
interested in Truth, Justice and the American Way—just like on the
Superman TV show. Sounds corny, but live with it. We are not implying that
other countries aren't just, but we just happen to live here. Come over for a
visit if you like, but do it the legal way. We do, however, trust that you will
inform us when the item sells, so we can make room for the next ad and we also
reserve the right to rotate the older ads. Newer ads will be towards the top.
It is also our habit to sometimes take a brand new ad and feature it on the
home page.

Our Nichols Cap Gun website gets so much traffic that if you
have a single-page website within our site, you are GUARANTEED to get a lot of
traffic yourself. I don't think Jim will mind me saying that in July alone his
single page got 946 hits. Considering that a single page on the internet is a
needle in a haystack, then that is a tremendous accomplishment. We will build
you a website that is sort of a "spec website" conforming to the general theme
of our site, but has your products or services on it. We allow 5 free changes
of items during a given month, and then only charge $5 per item after that. We
will bill you. The custom graphics, etc. are designed by us. You can keep all
of the money you earn, except our fee, which is $25 per month, minimum of one
year. Texas residents must also pay state sales tax.

chances are that ours is getting more traffic that you would expect to see from
a regular Cap Gun website. We literally get multi-thousands of hits per month.
So we offer customers who have custom multi-page websites the ability to locate
within our website and yet still retain their own identity and domain. We build
(or you can build) a home page that utilizes your domain name DNS and when they
click on anything on that home page, then they are transported over to the
pages of your site that reside within our site. Where this really takes off is
that we have dozens and dozens of pages within our own site that will be

website, the chances that our customers are going to find you are virtually

there who are promoting the Cap Gun Hobby, day-by-day like we are. We are

For some reason I don't quite fully understand yet,
God has blessed me with this unusual kind of job. I am probably the last
